Growing up on the farm, I was told, "What is important is what I achieve - not where I start from." I learned how to work hard, meet deadlines, multi-task, be part of a team, and persist in the face of adversity.
Now I own a bookkeeping firm with a team of 19 professional bookkeepers. The road from then to now was twisty and occasionally challenging but, more often than not, it has been exhilarating. My passion for using bookkeeping as a vehicle to help business owners take their businesses to ever-greater heights can be fully exercised.
My time as a finance manager, loans officer, and owner of a manufacturing company has given me the experiences needed to expand my skills into areas all entrepreneurs need, but do not always have. Understanding what your financial reports are telling you can help you make informed decisions about your company’s future. It is one thing to pull the reports but something else to know how to use them to run your business. Knowing how to predict your company’s future cash position, whether to hire or lay off staff, whether to increase or decrease inventory, whether to use credit or cash for capital expenditures... can make or break your business.
If you are wondering if you need a more accomplished bookkeeper ... the answer is probably. "YES!" With over 200 years of combined bookkeeping experience, my staff of bookkeepers has seen everything. We can help you clean up your files, organize your papers and leave chaos behind.
